The Process of every job starts with a thourough clean & degrease and inspection and photo's over the parts aswell as identifying any threaded holes, mating surfaces and critical area's that need to be either plugged or masked off for blasting and coating,before moving on to.

 

 

Chemical strip to remove any previous coatings and paint back to bare metal. After the part has washed off & neutralised we can then dry and  assess the condition of the metal and surface if any damage is needing repair or perhaps discuss applying  a high build primer to hide pin holes from corrosion before starting the

 

 

Outgassing process which essentials heats the bare metal part up to beyond the curing tempreture of the powder to remove, bake off and push out any trapped air and contaminants within the metal to help avoid it doing so in the final bake, also to bring any fluids, oils & residue to the surface to be then blasted off clean.

 

 

Next we move on to sandblasting which further cleans the metal and blasts off any remaining stubborn coating and removes any corrosion and crust whilst leaving a nice key on the metal ready for the first coat of powder to adhere to.

 

 

Once the part has been blown off and masked off any critical area's we are now ready to start electrostaticly applying the powder coat primer/colour/clear coat of your choice for a full cure in the oven, and then once pulled from the oven and cooled down the part is then ready to be handed back to you with a new lease of life!
